    The historic Terrace Mill was the site of the Native American Arts Festival during a sunny, windy afternoon on Saturday, May 19. Close to 150 people of all ages attended the celebration of the heritage of those who were here before us and still among us! The day included authentic Native art, food, performances and vendors. It was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage...

    Wow! We are pleased to announce that Central Square was chosen to receive the "Nonprofit of the Year" award by the Glenwood Lakes area Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to have been recognized at the annual meeting and banquet this past Tuesday. We are grateful to the Chamber and its members for all the work they do to promote business in our community.
