The students on the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary Junior Jag News Broadcasting team just sent out their first broadcasts of the 2016-2017 school year a couple weeks ago. In addition, this year, their broadcasting room has received some major updates from a new Green Screen Backdrop, along with Photo Lights! The broadcasting team is learning the importance of writing, communication, creativity and organizational skills to put together a school broadcast!
Each day the Jr. Jag News team needs to produce news and announcements for the next day. During their recording times they capture important school happenings, announcements, lunch menu items, the Pledge of Allegiance, Words of Wisdom (for our Jag Pride initiative) and anything else the teacher's would like for them to have on the news segment with the use of the Touchcast App on their broadcasting iPad!
We are very proud of our Jr. Jag News and can't wait to see this program grow as they go from a basic video production to a professional studio broadcast!
