Section 3A dance comp is Saturday (February 10)

The Section 3A state-qualifying dance comp is coming to Montevideo high school at 12 p.m. on Saturday, February 10.

The welcome and introduction of the teams, plus the National Anthem, will be at noon. The Jazz competition starts at 12:05 p.m. with Worthington leading things off. Next is Canby-Minneota, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, BOLD, Renville County West, Sleepy Eye, Yellow Medicine East, New London-Spicer, Minnewaska Area and MACCRAY. The B-B-E/Paynesville Pirouttes jazz squad is set to perform at 1:10 p.m.
Rounding out the Jazz division of Section 3A will be Lac qui Parle Valley/Dawson-Boyd, Lakeview and Montevideo.
A break will take place at 1:34 p.m., and the Kick division will begin at 1:55 p.m. with our very own B-B-E/Paynesville kick squad leading things off. They are followed by LQPV/D-B, Montevideo, Lakeview, Minnewaska, NL-S, MACCRAY, Canby-Minneota, YME, Wabasso, Worthington, RCW, BOLD and Sleepy Eye.
Another break is at 3:24 p.m., and the Section 3A comp awards will be at 3:45 p.m. beginning with Jazz and finishing with Kick.
The four seniors on the team have given terrific leadership this season: Charlotte Winkler, Megan Carroll, Aly Riggs and Morgan Soine. If you can get to Montevideo on Saturday, please do so and show your support!
