CHS-Prairie Lakes of Elrosa is holding their fourth annual human foosball tournament this Saturday, March 10 as a fundraiser for the Harvest For Hunger campaign.
Proceeds and donations will go to our area and local food shelves. Both participants and spectators are invited to attend! The event begins at 10:30 a.m. The location is at the Elrosa softball fields on the north side of town.
At least one in six households are food insecure (source: Feeding America); as such, every dollar of money or pound of food you donate makes a difference. If you cannot attend that day, you can donate cash, grain and food to all CHS-Prairie Lakes locations through March 20.
For participants, teams consist of six individuals. Those who attend who wish to participate but don't have a team will be assigned to existing teams. Pre-registration can take place by calling CHS-Prairie Lakes in Elrosa at 320-697-5566.
Participants are asked to donate either two non-perishable food donations or five dollars to support the local food shelves. Also, please note: no steel-toe boots! Sneakers only!
Hot Harry's pizza and soda will be available for purchase during the event.
