    Another round of wind and snow blasted the Bonanza Valley area in central Minnesota on Thursday, February 7. At least five inches of snow fell on Thursday morning and early afternoon. By mid-afternoon on Thursday, winds surpassed 20 mph to create hazardous and life-threatening driving conditions.     Four local establishments announced Valentine's Day dinners or specials for Thursday, February 14! They are the KaDe Shack in Brooten, the Padua Pub, Brink's Club 104 in Sunburg and Brink's Beer Joint in Swift Falls.     On Thursday, February 14, winter hit the Bonanza Valley area once again with another round of what is essentially a brief period of heavy snow followed by a longer period of strong winds. As of 11:40 a.m., the wind speed is around 20 miles an hour. The forecast for the day says that the winds will climb between 20 and 30 miles an hour today and possibly higher.
