    The 47th annual Sinclair Lewis Days celebration kicked off in Sauk Centre on Wednesday night, July 12, with Wacky Water Night at Sinclair Lewis Park. Turtle races and a kids' concert were other highlights for the night. Events continue on Thursday with a pie and ice cream social at 2 p.m. at the Sauk Centre senior center.     The Elrosa Saints Little Dipper baseball team, comprised of fourth- to eighth-grade players, earned the No. 1 playoff seed for the Stearns County League playoffs. They finished in a tie for first place with Farming, 7-1 each in the league, and won the tiebreaker due to their 5-1 win over the Flames in the regular season on June 25.   • Art Show helps kick off BVD weekend

    The Red Hen House retreat center was the site of the first annual Bonanza Valley Days Art Show, which featured works by local artist and Red Hen House owner Barbara Lent of Brooten. The art show was held over two days, Friday and Saturday, during BVD weekend. Shown is a short video clip from the show on Friday night.     The Terrace Mill Children's Theater is excited to announce that a cast of 35 youth will reprise the timeless classic 'Peter Pan' on the Terrace Mill stage this week, Wednesday and Thursday, July 19-20.
