Redhead Creamery Holiday open house a success

The Redhead Creamery in rural Brooten hosted a Holiday Open House on Saturday, Dec. 5 on a day with hazy cloud cover, mild temperatures and a lack of wind that helped make for a wonderful afternoon for tours of the Jennissen dairy farm and the creamery's factory.
Numerous farm tours took place throughout the afternoon, which for many, was their first glimpse at a working dairy farm.
To top it off, Santa Claus made a special visit via a horse-drawn wagon in the second hour of the four-hour long event. He was kind enough to stick around in the Redhead Creamery store and cheese factory while children and adults took turns getting their picture taken with him.
