Brink's Beer Joint, Swift Falls, is holding their annual Turkey Fest on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The 1K Run/Walk and/or Drink event begins at 1 p.m. at Brink's...with drinks served at Swift Falls park until 3 p.m. Entry fee is $15, and all profits will be donated to the veteran program "Beyond the Yellow Ribbon" which helps connect military families with their communities.
Other Turkey Fest fun begins with a 2 p.m. Bean Bag tournament ($20 per team, 150% pay back); 3 to 5 p.m. First Responder Pot Luck and Turkey Cook-Off (cook turkey your way & win cash!) ...returning this year! A Fireman's Waterball contest at 3:30 p.m.; Tthe Turkey Fest parade is at 5:30 p.m. (best float wins $100) and then 6-9 p.m. enjoy the live country music of Reagan James while settling in for the evening at Brink's!
