On Thursday, February 14, winter hit the Bonanza Valley area once again with another round of what is essentially a brief period of heavy snow followed by a longer period of strong winds. As of 11:40 a.m., the wind speed is around 20 miles an hour. The forecast for the day says that the winds will climb between 20 and 30 miles an hour today and possibly higher. Snow is coming down at a moderate pace.

Also, a wind chill advisory will begin at 23:00 tonight and continue into tomorrow.
