The Brooten American Legion will hold a Memorial Day program on Monday, May 27 at 10 a.m. at Memorial Park along Highway 55. The speaker will be Father David Grundman of the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Catholic churches. Also, the B-B-E high school band will perform, and the B-B-E Girl Scouts and Brooten American Legion Ladies Auxiliary will also be in attendance.

At 11 a.m. on Memorial Day, the Belgrade V.F.W. will host a program for veterans and the public at the B-B-E high school auditorium. The Voice of Democracy contest winners will give their speeches, and a parade will take place after the program beginning at the high school parking lot and ending at the Belgrade V.F.W.
