Operation Warm, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa community winter clothes drive, will continue on Wednesdays each week through the fall and into winter. The clothing drive has been an overwhelming success, according to organizer Geri Putz. During the week of October 16 to October 19, a large volume of clothing was picked up by families from around the area.

Winter coats, hats, gloves, and other warm clothes are free for pick up by anyone. The clothing drive is found at city hall in downtown Brooten on Wednesday, October 23 from 1 to 4 p.m. Alternate arrangements can be lined up by calling city hall if you want to pick up clothing for you or your family by calling Jeanne at 320-346-2524.
