Brooten Fire Relief Association approves donation

Miss Brooten royalty and youth bicycle winners gather at the Brooten city park shelter on April 15, 2016 at the Brooten Commercial Club Easter Egg hunt.

At their meeting on February 12, the Brooten Fire Relief Association approved a donation to fund the costs with the Brooten Community Easter Egg hunt. The Easter Egg hunt, which also includes a bicycle drawing, is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at the Brooten city park. (Rain/poor weather back up location TBD)

The Fire Relief Association granted a donation of $1,000 pay for costs of candy, bicycles and advertising and promotion of the event. The donation will go to the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Girl Scouts, who will pay the costs of the event and join with the Miss Brooten Royalty to host the activities.

Other details will be revealed after March 1.

The community of Brooten thanks the Brooten Fire Relief Association for their generosity in support of this always-popular event!
