COVID-19 hotline at Glacial Ridge Health System

Glacial Ridge Health System has a COVID-19 hotline available for people to call if they have the symptoms and need more information. This is very important to follow. If you have a fever, a cough and / or a respiratory illness or other respiratory symptoms, please do not go directly to any of GRHS's clinics or the Emergency Room. Please call GRHS at 320-334-5481 for further instructions. *Note: this dedicated number is ONLY for patients with the above-described symptoms.

The best advice to share is to follow these steps, steps that all of us need to take every day:

1. Wash your hands often (20 seconds with soap)

2. Cough in your your elbow

3. Don't touch your face

4. Stay six feet away from others

5. Feeling sick? Please stay home! This is vital to slowing the spread of COVID-19

6. Minimize social interaction and unnecessary stops

COVID-19 symptoms: coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is characterized by mild symptoms including a runny nose, sore throat, cough, and fever. Illness can be more severe for some people and can lead to pneumonia or breathing difficulties. More rarely, the disease can be fatal. Older people, and people with other medical conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, or heart disease), may be more vulnerable to becoming severely ill.

Due to the high concern surrounding COVID-19 (coronavirus), stay informed with up to date information. Members of the public can call the Minnesota Department of Health COVID-19 Hotline at 651-201-3920.
