As was published in the October 8 and October 15 issues of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper, the cities of Brooten, Belgrade and Elrosa will not have in-person voting for the general election on Tuesday, November 3. This information has also been published in previous newspaper issues in 2020.

Ballots have been mailed to all registered voters in Brooten, Belgrade and Elrosa and numerous rural Stearns County and Pope County townships.

As of September 18, 2020, residents of Stearns County may vote in person through 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3 at this location only: Stearns County Service Center, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park, MN 56387. (Hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.)

In addition, voters can vote at the Stearns County Administration Center, Auditor's Office, 705 Courthouse Square in St. Cloud Monday to Friday (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) and on Saturday, October 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to all that, in-person voting for all of Stearns County (any county resident) can take place at the Melrose City Center from October 27 through Monday, November 2. The hours for this location are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Friday. The hours for voting in Melrose on Saturday, October 31 in Melrose are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

*Hours extended for ballot drop-off drive-through

Randy Schreifels, Stearns County Auditor-Treasurer, is extending the drive-thru hours for dropping off ballots at the Stearns County Service Center. Hours will be extended beginning Tuesday, October 27, 2020 to make it easier for residents to use the drive-through. Drive-through ballot drop off hours will be:

8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 27 to Friday, October 30, 2020

9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 31

8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 2
