Staff and friends of the Belgrade library, part of the Great River Regional Library network, will host a special event called The Viking Age at the Belgrade municipal hall on Wednesday, July 27 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Presenter Arn Kind from Historical Experiences gives us an up-close and interactive look at the life of a Norseman. What was life as a Viking really like? Do books and movies portray Vikings accurately? Mr. Kind will separate myth from fact, show off artifacts and answer every question about this colorful chapter of history.

This is for all ages and is a Minnesota Legacy Event.
