Each year, Junior and Senior members of the FFA have the opportunity to apply for the highest degree awarded to a member in the State. As a 9th grader, members can attain their Greenhand Degree. As a sophomore, they are awarded their Chapter Farmer Degree.

Members must maintain records of their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) Program, participate in a minimum of 10 activities above the Chapter level, earn at least the minimum amount of money ($2,000) through their SAE program, meet and maintain certain scholastic standards, complete a minimum of 360 hours of agricultural instruction among other requirements to complete the 20 plus page application.

This year, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa had the following members attain their State FFA Degree: Joe Reller, son of Kurt & Debbie Reller; Ben Feuerhake, son of Tom & Kristi Overman; Ben Thompson, son of Dale Thompson & Trisha Delhamer; Austin Trustheim, son of Todd & Kim Trustheim; Zach Walz, son of Steve & Doris Walz; Jake Fischer, son of Jim & Tracy Fischer; Sam Wosmek, son of Jeff & Chris Wosmek; Zach Schmitz, son of Gerald & Sue Schmitz; and Brendon Loch, son of Alan & Michelle Loch.
