The annual Bonanza Valley Days celebration is coming to Brooten on July 10, 11, 12, and 13! It all kicks off with the BVD Worship in the Park on Thursday, July 10 at 7 p.m. at the city park (near the shelter). This year, the non-denominational worship service will be led by River of Life Church staff. Rain or shine! Brooten Farmers Market kicks off today (June 26)

The Brooten Farmers Market, which still seeks vendors to join, opens the 2025 season tonight, Thursday, June 26 at the city park shelter and gazebo. The Farmers Market runs from 4 to 7 p.m. rain or shine. Available on this evening are baked goods by the Zimmermans (breads, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, granola) plus other vendors with flowers, leaf lettuce (lots!), Val TeVelde's hand-crafted cards and more.
