A long list of exciting updates are coming in a light summary fashion of how Saturday of Bonanza Valley Days has gone this weekend in Brooten. Crowds have been tremendous in the heat, and parking was tight near both downtown Brooten, Quisberg Park and Prairie View Golf Course and also at the city park. The Bonanza Valley Days began with a terrific evening of socializing and fellowship at the city park for the first Brooten Farmers Market of the season plus the BVD Worship in the Park event. A nice crowd of about 50 attended the ecumenical worship service. The Rick Thonvold Kids Pedal Pull is at 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 11 on Main Street; the set up is in front of the KaDe Shack.
