A promotion event for renewable fuels was held on Wednesday, April 15 at Coop's Corner C-store in Belgrade. The Belgrade Co-op joined forces with the Minnesota Corn Growers Association for a two-hour period during which E-85 and E-15 fuel was discounted by a wide margin. On Thursday, April 16, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa FFA chapter hosted Tractor Day at the high school. Students from the high school were invited to drive tractors to school, and they were lined up in a row on the north side of the campus's main parking lot.
