The new sign for the Brooten Farmers Market was added to the city park on Thursday, June 26.
The Brooten Farmers Market, which still seeks vendors to join, opens the 2025 season tonight, Thursday, June 26 at the city park shelter and gazebo. The Farmers Market runs from 4 to 7 p.m. rain or shine. Available on this evening are baked goods by the Zimmermans (breads, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, granola) plus other vendors with flowers, leaf lettuce (lots!), Val TeVelde's hand-crafted cards and more.
Two vendors are selling sourdough bread, and one of those vendors also has sourdough bagels (while supplies last).
Fresh strawberries, radishes and spinach is also available.
