The state-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars volleyball team lost a tough 3-2 match at New London-Spicer to open the 2026 season. Back-to-back wins in the Class C amateur state tournament have moved the Elrosa Saints into the town team state quarterfinals. The Saints faced the Pierz Brewers on August 23 in the first round of state.
