The God Squad youth education students of the Trinity and West Lake Johanna Lutheran Parish of Brooten performed songs for Palm Sunday worship on Sunday, March 29. As briefly mentioned in the April 2 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper, the Sunburg Fire Department is currently raising funds to purchase a new (used) tanker/pumper truck. The department has a fundraising goal of $150,000. On December 31 last year, they had $34,350 raised.
