    Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa schools held their 11th annual Color FUND Run on a sunshine-filled Wednesday, October 7. Each group of runners started their race right next to the junior high football field on the high school campus in Belgrade. The temperatures by the time of the race hovered just over 70 degrees in the afternoon. Students in preschool, kindergarten and grades 1-12 participated in the event.     At the home volleyball match with West Central Area on Thursday, October 8, the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Homecoming royal court was introduced before the B-B-E Jaguars volleyball team played the Knights. The 38th annual Homecoming queen and king at B-B-E are Teagan Dingmann and Aiden Mueller. The attached video features the introduction that night.     The Elrosa Fire Department's fall steak fry and cash raffle fundraiser is coming on Saturday, October 10 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where they will be serving in the church's spacious basement.     The Elrosa Fire Department steak fry on Saturday, October 10 drew a record turnout of support. Not only did the steak fry serve over 1,000 customers in a span of just four hours, but the community support was overwhelming for the Joslyn and Brandon Deters family. Joslyn Deters is currently at the beginning stages of treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She was diagnosed with this cancer one month ago, September 11.
