Grief Support group in Belgrade
Whether you are grieving a recent loss or one from years ago, all are welcome to meet with others who have known similar losses, including loss of a parent, child, sibling, spouse, job, or health. This group meets once each month for 90 minutes on the third Tuesday of the month. Their next meeting is Tuesday, September 17 at the Big Grove/Crow River/Grace Lutheran parish office in Belgrade from 6:30 to 8 p.m. (downtown Belgrade at the municipal building). R.D. Offutt Farms FREE community potato dig
R.D. Offutt Farms will once again host a FREE community potato dig at one of their area potato fields near Brooten. For this year, they will host the free dig across THREE days during daylight hours (sunrise to sunset) on Friday, Saturday and Sunday - September 20, 21 and 22. The location will be at a field one mile south of Brooten on County Road 18 on the WEST side of the road. The location will be clearly marked with signs and flags. This is an all-you-can-dig party while supplies last! Remember: it is also a bring-your-own gathering supplies such as potato forks and buckets. Please dig at your own risk - be safe but have fun!

Chippewa Falls Lutheran fall turkey dinner in Terrace
The parishioners of Chippewa Falls Lutheran church of Terrace invite everyone to their fall turkey dinner on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will again feature a drive-through with to-go dinners available. Plenty of seating will be prepared for those able to dine in at the church basement. Everyone is also invited to support their craft and bake sale. This is a Thrivent Financial event.

First Lutheran of Norway Lake Fall Meatball Dinner
Everyone is invited to First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake for their annual Fall Meatball dinner on Sunday, September 29, with serving taking place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Their church is located 9 miles west of New London on County Road 40. The menu features: meatballs with gravy, mashed potatoes, vegetables, salads, bread, assorted desserts, coffee and milk. Also enjoy "Granny's Attic" plus baked goods, crafts and garden produce. Price: $12 for adults, kids ages 6-12 is $6 and ages 5 and under eat free!
