The publisher's family enjoyed spending Sunday, September 29 at the Renaissance Festival in rural Shakopee. The Norway Lake Lutheran Historical Association hosted a 25th anniversary celebration of the construction of the log church replica on a sunny Sunday afternoon, August 18. The church community of Chippewa Falls Lutheran in scenic Terrace held a special 150th anniversary worship service on Sunday, August 4. The service included numerous former pastors and extended family guests for a full house. The Sunburg community hosted a marvelous Syttende Mai celebration on Sunday, May 19. The Sunburg Trolls Car Club raffle concluded the event, and the quilt raffle took place after over 800 tickets were sold. The winner of the quilt was Curtis Engstrom of Norway Lake Township.
