In the July 30 Bonanza Valley Voice issue, a story about the arrest of Melvin Rogers, age 70, for the alleged crime of Criminal Sexual Conduct - 3rd Degree - Penetration - Uses force 609.341, subd 3(2), included a misdemeanor conviction on Rogers' record in Pope County for the crime of Trespass-Premises of another-Refuse to Depart, under Minnesota statute 609.605.1(b)(3). Sentencing occurred on March 26, 2026. The community of offense listed was Glenwood, and the prosecuting agency was the Glenwood city attorney Troy Nelson. Court records stated the offense date as September 5, 2025.
