Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary students participated in a Fire Prevention and Fire Safety week presentation last Thursday, October 9 brought to them by firefighters from Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa. Preschool through 5th graders gathered in the gymnasium and listened intently to information that has the potential to save their life. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 6th and 7th grade students enjoyed a field trip on Friday, October 3 to the Oliver Kelley Farm in rural Elk River. This farm is a National Historic Landmark where modern-day guests can get a firsthand view of a working from in the 1860s.
