    The Pope County Fair had a truly tremendous day of activities on Friday, August 1 in Glenwood. With temperatures hovering in the mid-70s and full sunshine, conditions were perfect for the outdoor events taking place at the fair.     The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Babe Ruth 16-U Jaguars opened the state tournament on July 24 with a 7-0 shut out win against Detroit Lakes. The state tournament is hosted by New York Mills.
