    The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa speech team held their season-ending banquet on Saturday, May 10 at the Eagles Nest Bar and Grill in Regal. In the attached video, seniors on the team provided mini "roasts" with prizes for each of the team members as well as coaches and two die-hard supporters.     Jerry Huls, who taught and coached at Brooten schools from 1979 to 1983, passed away on Tuesday, April 29. He was the Brooten Buccaneers head wrestling coach during those four years and also taught K-6 physical education at Brooten elementary school.
