On Friday, August 21, Trisha and Nolan Zachman hosted a Soil Health Field Day at their Crow River Township farm in rural Belgrade. Their farm, Feathered Acres Learning Farm and Inn, doubles as a working livestock farm and a lodging destination.
Trisha Zachman is featured in the attached video speaking about animal husbandry as it relates to raising hogs in outdoor settings on their farm, which partners with Niman Ranch. Niman Ranch's website is https://nimanranch.com.
Trisha, a 2011 Sauk Centre graduate, and Nolan, a 2011 Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa graduate, both attended and earned undergraduate degrees in Agronomy at Northern State University in Aberdeen.
