Tournament is coming on June 29 in Brooten

On August 24, 2006, the world lost a piece of sunshine. Please share a laugh or a tear in honor of the late Gary Breitbach. RIP.

An 18-hole, six-person golf scramble will be held on Saturday, June 29 for the annual Gary Breitbach memorial golf tournament. Held at Prairie View golf course in Brooten, the tournament's registration takes place between 9 and 10:30 a.m. with the shotgun start to follow. (Course website: https://prairieviewgolfcourse.com.)

The Class of 2019 scholarship winners were Ally Gruber, Katherine Mastey, Tyler Bents and Abe Peter.

Entry fee: $55 for golf course members and $75 for non-members; this includes green fees, skins, cart and a meal to follow. Between rounds, golfers can take in a $5 brat lunch, pin prizes, skin games, a one-thousand dollar hole-in-one contest.

Tournament payouts go to first, second, third, eighth and 12th places. Silent and live auctions will follow the meal. For more information, or to register, contact club manager Micky at 320-346-2677.
