  • Turkey Fest held in Swift Falls

    The sun shined all afternoon and into the evening for the annual Turkey Fest in Swift Falls on Saturday, September 22. The annual event, hosted by Brink's Beer Joint, included many activities including a turkey cook-off, a parade, a bean bag tournament and a fire department water ball contest. Many photos from the event appeared on page 12 of the September 27 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper. You can watch video of the parade below....

  • B-B-E Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosts 5th Quarter

    The Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Fellowship of Christian Athletes hosted a Fifth Quarter event at the Brooten Lanes on Friday, September 21. Over 40 high school kids gathered that night for fun and fellowship by Brooten's hometown bowling alley after the home football game.   • Stearns County auction coming

    An auction will be held on Saturday, October 13 to sell Stearns County seized and surplus property. The auction begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Stearns County Highway Department located in Waite Park at 455 – 28th Avenue, near Mills Fleet Farm. Many vehicles – cars, trucks and SUVs – will be for sale, along with all sorts of other equipment like mowers, trailers, sand blasters, and blades.
