Art sale in Brooten

For the past four years, Vicki Weiss of Brooten has become an experienced painter in her retirement. After painting mostly for fun beginning late in 2019, extended time across 2020 with few social activities taking place due to the pandemic helped foster painting into more than just a hobby.

Since 2022, Weiss has sold paintings at the Belgrade Hardware Store alongside numerous other hand-crafted, locally-made items. This Saturday, December 9, Vicki Weiss and her husband, David, will be hosting an art sale of her original paintings in their garage at 501 Central Avenue South (intersection of Crow Lake Street) in Brooten. They will be selling her paintings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and all priced at $25 each. (Think: unique and Christmas gifts!)
