The annual Bonanza Valley Days celebration in Brooten is coming on July 6, 7, 8 and 9 next summer of 2023! Spread the word and mark your calendars!

Hope Lutheran Fall Bazaar in Sunburg

Hope Lutheran church of Sunburg invites everyone to their Fall Bazaar on Saturday, October 1 from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event will feature a Bakery Shoppe, aprons and crafts, a farmers market, cards and napkins and a used book sale, a luncheon and a quilt raffle (which concludes the event at 1 p.m.) On the menu for the luncheon: wild rice or vegetable soup, ham or turkey buns, salad, Rommegrot and a variety of delicious pies. The farmers market will feature home grown produce plus jams and jellies. The Bakery Shoppe features breads, bars, cookies and Scandinavian goods plus a lefse-baking demonstration and lefse bites! See you there!

Brooten Fire Relief Association Meat Raffle at Marcia's Bar and Grill

Everyone invited! They will host a Meat Raffle fundraiser after Bar Bingo concludes, which should be at about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 1. Head to Marcia's Bar and Grill and enjoy fun while supporting a great cause!

Belgrade V.F.W. Steak and Pork Chop Fry

Everyone is invited to the upcoming Belgrade V.F.W. Steak and Pork Chop Fry on Saturday, October 1 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. On the menu: steak, or 2 pork chops or 1 smoked pork chop plus a baked potato, coleslaw, roll and beverage. A meat raffle will be held this time beginning at 5 p.m. until the trays are gone. Always fun! Bring your $1 bills.

Milwaukee power tool demo event at Belgrade Hardware

The Belgrade Hardware Store invites everyone to their upcoming Demo Event with Milwaukee tools on Saturday, October 8 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Come join them and meet a Milwaukee representative bringing power tools, outdoor equipment and everything in between! Come test out new products. An open order sheet will be available. They will also have giveaways for lucky customers!

Crow River Lutheran WELCA soup and sandwich supper and fall auction

The Crow River Lutheran WELCA of rural Belgrade invites everyone to their annual fall auction and Soup and Sandwich supper on Saturday, October 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. Supper starts at 4 p.m., and the live auction starts at 7 p.m.! Free will donation for the supper, and WELCA raffle tickets are $2 (drawing during the auction) and need not be present to win. Additional details coming in the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper leading up to the event.
