Sunburg kids enjoyed time with Santa Claus.
A visit by a very special friend to kids of all ages took place on Friday night, December 9 in downtown Sunburg. With the temperature hovering just a couple degrees above zero, dozens of Sunburg-area kids turned out with friends and family in the frigid weather to greet and enjoy time with Santa Claus and quite a few friends.

After dancing, singing and taking plenty of photos out on the street, the kids and their families packed into the Kultur Hus with Santa Claus to take time to tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
The Sunburg Area Commercial Club held a kids' drawing for prizes at the Kultur Hus following the Meet and Greet time with Santa Claus.
As one Sunburg native aptly stated, "It's not often that something this fun happens in Sunburg, but when it does, we know how to bring a crowd!"
Photos from the event in Sunburg will appear in the Dec. 15 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
