The atmosphere on Monday was festive, the mood was light and the crowd was shoulder-to-shoulder for almost two hours straight in the lobby of North American State Bank in Belgrade.
The occasion? Hundreds of visitors streamed through the bank to get a moment with George Borgerding, who celebrated his 90th birthday at the open house celebration on Monday, November 26. The event also was a time to celebrate his 68-year career in the banking industry.
