Pope County Fair opens Wednesday, July 17

Five days of fun coming to Pope County area in Glenwood

The Pope County Agricultural Society is proud to see the annual Pope County FREE Fair get underway this week on Wednesday, July 17 in Glenwood.

The Pope County Fair is funded solely by grants, fair goers, donations and sponsors! The gate fees at grandstand events are large part of how the fair can continue each year. Grandstand events in 2019 are as follows: Wednesday, July 17 brings the Fire Department Water Fight at 7 p.m.; Thursday, July 18 brings the Birch Coulee Ranch Rodeo at 6:30 p.m.; Friday, July 19 brings M.T. Rodeo Company Bulls and Barrels at 7 p.m.; and Saturday, July 20 brings TWO events: the Demo Derby at noon and the Truck and Tractor Pull at 5 p.m.

The Pope County Free Fair is sponsored by the Pope County Agricultural Society, a 501c3 non-profit community volunteer organization. The Pope County Fair is one of the few fairs in Minnesota that offer a FREE gate and FREE parking.
