Brooten American Legion and B-B-E elementary host Veterans Day program

Marie Kaiser gives her Voice of Democracy essay contest speech on Veterans Day at B-B-E elementary school.

Members of the Brooten American Legion and the Brooten American Legion Auxiliary, in conjunction with staff and students of Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa elementary and high school, hosted a Veterans Day program on the morning of Monday, November 11.

(HD VIDEO) The Veterans Day program held at B-B-E elementary on November 11, 2019.

Sixth grade students recited information and stories about Veterans Day. Members of the B-B-E high school band and choir also performed songs, and the Pope County Men's Chorus also sang songs. Maci Wright and Marie Kaiser, winners of the Belgrade V.F.W. Post. No. 1825 Voice of Democracy essay contest gave their speeches. They are current juniors at B-B-E high school.
