The annual Bonanza Valley Days celebration in Brooten is coming next on July 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2027! Spread the word and mark your calendars! The 2027 BVD grand parade starts at 1:30 p.m. in Brooten on Sunday, July 11, 2027.
Belgrade August Fest 2027!
Mark your calendars for the big weekend in Belgrade! August 12-15
The annual Belgrade August Fest is coming on August 12-15 (Thursday to Sunday) in the summer of 2027. The 2027 August Fest grand parade starts at 4 p.m. in Belgrade on Saturday, August 14.

Meat Raffle at Heidi's Bar in Sedan
The Terrace Mill Foundation will hold a meat raffle fundraiser at Heidi's Bar in Sedan on Friday, November 6. The fun begins at 6:30 p.m. This night's meat raffle is in support of To-Be-Determined.
November 7
Belgrade VFW Steak and Pork Chop feed
The Belgrade VFW will host their second Steak and Pork Chop feed of the season on Saturday, November 7. They are serving from 5 to 7:30 p.m., and a meat raffle will also be held, so bring your dollar bills! Come out and support a terrific, local organization.

Lutheran Free Spirits youth group fall turkey dinner
The Free Spirits youth group at Big Grove-Crow River-Grace Lutheran parish invites everyone to their fall turkey dinner, which is on Sunday, November 8 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Crow River Lutheran church in rural Belgrade. This is a free will donation event. On the menu: turkey, real mashed potatoes, gravy, coleslaw, corn, bread, beverages and pie. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase Christmas presents for local children in need and for youth mission trips. It is a Thrivent-sponsored event.

B-B-E schools' Veterans Day programs with local veterans groups
The public is encouraged, if able, to attend next week's Veterans' Day programs at both Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa schools, next Wednesday, November 11. • 9:30 a.m. at the elementary in Brooten in conjunction with the Brooten American Legion Post 288 and Legion Auxiliary, and all veterans are welcome to gather at 9 a.m. before the program for refreshments. • 1:10 p.m. at the high school in Belgrade in conjunction with the Belgrade VFW Post 1825 and VFW Auxiliary, and all veterans are welcome to the cafeteria for refreshments following the program.

A Red Cross blood drive will be held Monday, November 23rd, 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Hope Lutheran Church in Sunburg. Blood donations are urgently needed. The public is invited to the monthly East Norway Lake Lutheran community breakfast, which will be served on Saturday, November 28 starting at 9 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. No obligation, no admission! Come and enjoy a meal and great fellowship with friends and neighbors.

Norway Lake Log Church Advent Worship
The Norway Lake Lutheran Historical Association invites everyone to the log church complex for their annual Advent Worship service on Sunday, November 29 at 2 p.m. in Arctander Township. Following worship, Norwegian-style treats and warm cider will be served. Come one, come all!
