Children enjoyed meeting the Easter bunny during the 2018 Brooten Easter Egg hunt. The meet-and-greet was held inside the Brooten Pavilion that spring due to the cold weather at the time (March 31, 2018).

The community of Brooten invites area children to the city park for an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 3. The event is made possible by the generous support of the Brooten Fire Relief Association and many volunteers in town who are excited to make it a fun event for everyone.

The Easter Egg hunt will have different locations for different ages of kids. This will start at 1 p.m. sharp at the Brooten city park. Also, a bicycle drawing will take place - for ages 1 to 5 and ages 6 to 10 (one boy and one girl for each age group).

And a side note: bicycles have been ordered, although they may not arrive in time for the event. Regardless, the drawing will take place and bicycles will be available for pick up as needed once they are delivered to the Belgrade Hardware store.
