The Brooten city council heard a proposal by Gary Skarpness to develop a five-spot R.V. park at the former gas station across Highway 55 from Rooster's Bottle Shop. Skarpness addressed the council at the Monday (October 25) meeting.
Skarpness told the council that the five spots would have water, sewer and electrical hook-ups. The council was generally supportive of the idea, and they directed Skarpness to complete a building permit to further the idea along.
