New COVID-19 cases increase by 8 from previous week's figure

The Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa zip codes posted the number 25 for new COVID-19 cases in the past week as reported by the Minnesota Department of Health. The new report was released on Thursday, November 11 for new COVID-19 cases reported in the past week by zip code.
For the local zip codes, the breakdown is:
Belgrade 56312 - 7 new cases (cumulative since January 2020 is 463)
Brooten 56316 - 12 new cases (cumulative since January 2020 is 243)
Elrosa 56325 - 6 new cases (cumulative since January 2020 is 40).
To the west, the Glenwood 56334 zip code saw a large decline in new case count figures from 69 reported new in the November 4 report to 44 new reported in the November 11 report.
To the northeast, Melrose 56352 also saw a large decline from 41 new cases in the November 4 report to 30 new cases in the November 11 report.
To the north, a large decline was reported with Sauk Centre 56378's new case counts. In their November 4 report, that zip code area had an increase of 65 new cases. In today's (November 11) report, they had an increase of 43 cases.
