For the reporting period of January 13 through January 19, 2022, the Belgrade, Brooten and Elrosa zip code areas have posted a 27 for new COVID-19 cases. This information was released on the morning of Thursday, January 20 by the Minnesota Department of Health. Around the area, COVID-19 new case counts fluctuated "all over the map" with some zip code areas seeing small increases, others seeing large increases and some showing a decline. The Belgrade zip code showed a small increase, the Brooten zip code showed a larger increase, and there has been no uptick in cases over the past three weeks in Elrosa.
The break down of the 27 new COVID-19 cases is as follows:
Belgrade 56312 - 17 new cases (15 new last week and 4 in the January 6 report)
Brooten 56316 - 9 new cases (2 new last week and 4 in the January 6 report)
Elrosa 56325 - 1 new case (1 new last week and 1 in the January 6 report)
