The community of Brooten invites area children to the city park for an Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 16. The event is made possible by the generous support of the Brooten Fire Relief Association, RJ's Mini Mart and many volunteers in town who are excited to make it a fun event for everyone. This year's hunt will likely take place on snow! Something kids will talk about for years.
The Easter Egg hunt will have different locations for different ages of kids. This will start at 1 p.m. sharp at the Brooten city park. Also, a bicycle drawing will take place - for ages 1 to 5 and ages 6 to 10 (one boy and one girl for each age group).
The bicycles have been on display at Bonanza Valley State Bank this week. They will be at the event and ready for the lucky children who win them.
