The annual Bonanza Valley Days celebration in Brooten is coming next on July 8, 9, 10 and 11 in 2027! Spread the word and mark your calendars! The 2027 BVD grand parade starts at 1:30 p.m. in Brooten on Sunday, July 11, 2027.
Belgrade August Fest 2027!
Mark your calendars for the big weekend in Belgrade! August 12-15
The annual Belgrade August Fest is coming on August 12-15 (Thursday to Sunday) in the summer of 2027. The 2027 August Fest grand parade starts at 4 p.m. in Belgrade on Saturday, August 14.

Brooten Farmers Market season continues!
The Brooten Farmers Market will operate for the 11th night of the 2026 season on Thursday, September 17 at the Brooten city park and/or the shelter and/or gazebo from 4 to 7 p.m. depending on the weather. Please pass the word! Local craftsmen, craftswomen, bakers and artists are welcome to join! Contact the Bonanza Valley Voice for more details at 320-346-2400. The Brooten Farmers Market will run weekly on Thursdays through at least September.

Brink's Beer Joint Turkey Fest in Swift Falls
The Honebrink family and all the friendly staff of Brink's Beer Joint in Swift Falls invites everyone to the annual Turkey Fest celebration, which is on Saturday, September 19 in the scenic village of Swift Falls. The Turkey Fest parade starts at 5:30 p.m.! Also on the schedule: 1 p.m. bean bag tournament ($20 per team) and the turkey cook-off is 3 to 5 p.m. in support of County Line first responders. ALSO a Classic Car show with no entry fee is 3 to 5 p.m. with gift certificates for people's choice. For the youth: bouncy house, face painting, kids games and prizes. The top float in the parade wins a $100 gift certificate. LIVE music will be performed from 6 to 9 p.m. by Darren Beyer. See you in Swift Falls!

Sedan Fire Department Gun Raffle
Come join the always-friendly Sedan Fire and Rescue for their always-exciting 40-gun raffle on Saturday, September 26 at Heidi's Bar in downtown Sedan. The social hour starts at 6 p.m., and the raffle gets underway at 7 p.m. Tickets are available from Sedan Fire Department members or at Heidi’s Bar. They hope to see you there!

The Belgrade VFW invites the public to join them for Trivia Night on Saturday, September 26 starting at 7 p.m. (231 Morrison Street, Belgrade) This is shaping up to be a fun night with FREE entry and FREE jukebox to follow. Participants can win gift certificates for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

First Lutheran Norway Lake meatball dinner
The church community at First Lutheran of Norway Lake invites everyone to their annual fall meatball dinner. They are serving from 10:30 a.m. through 1 p.m. Come one, come all! The announcement reads: a meatball dinner featuring Swedish meatballs, mashed potatoes , gravy, corn and a variety of homemade salads and desserts will be held Sunday, Sept. 27 at the First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in rural New London. Serving begins at 10:30 and goes until 1 p.m. The cost is $15 for adults and $8 for children aged 6-12. Children five years and young eat free. The event also includes the sale of baked goods, locally-grown garden produce and the Basket Blessing raffle. The church is located at 6338 County Road 40 NW, New London.
