Belgrade Lions Chili Cook-Off in support of the B-B-E Area Food Shelf
The fifth annual Belgrade Lions Chili Cook-Off is coming on Saturday, February 28 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Belgrade VFW; the event features a Circus Theme, and a portion of proceeds will benefit the B-B-E Area Food Shelf. Rules: anyone can enter a homemade recipe; entry fee is $20 and a roaster of chili; to register, call Tony Nemmers at 320-349-0150; register by February 20 to guarantee a table; set up at 5 p.m. the day of the event. The public can participate for $5 for a spoon and voting tickets; also, vote for best fire department chili; additional donations to the food shelf are welcome.
