The Belgrade-Brooten police department finished 2022 with a total of 1,837 incident complaint reports (ICRs) on the book. This represents about a six percent increase from 2021, when the total was 1,731 between the two towns.

Belgrade-Brooten Police Chief Casey Jansky reported to the BB police board that new Automatic Electronic Defibrillators (AEDs) are in service. They both come with five-year bumper to bumper warranties including pads. Two additional AEDs were donated to B-B-E schools.

The full police story was published in the January 26 issue of the Bonanza Valley Voice newspaper.
