The No. 8-ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa wrestling team finished up last week with a flurry of action after three straight days of practice.

On Thursday at Kerkhoven, the Jaguars went 1-1 with a loss to the host Fighting Saints and a win over Benson.

On Friday at Minneota, the Jaguars suffered a 37-27 loss to No. 12-ranked Canby but defeated state-ranked Minneota and Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted.

After their trip to Hutchinson on Tuesday this week, the Jaguars have seven more duals left in the regular season at three events: the A-C-GC quad on Thursday this week in Grove City, the Bertha-Hewitt triangular in Bertha and a home triangular next Tuesday, February 7 in Belgrade (5 p.m.) that also serves as Parents Night.
