Belgrade August Fest begins tonight (VIDEO)

On August 12, 2021, the crowd gathered at the Belgrade City Park to take in the free concert which opened the August Fest celebration two summers ago.

The annual Belgrade August Fest celebration starts tonight, Thursday, August 10 with a free community celebration and concert in the city park, brought to the public by the Belgrade Economic Development Authority. The Belgrade city park is located on south Highway 55 near the Belgrade Centennial Monument and crow statute. From 5:30 to 8 p.m., food will be served by Queen Bee's with a cost of $7 per plate for pulled pork BBQ sandwiches or $4 per plate for hot dog meals. Each meal comes with chips, potato salad, pickles, pop and water. For adults age 21 and older, beer will be available for purchase at $4 or $6 per 16 oz. glass. Music will be performed Thursday by the Custom Made band from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The evening is sponsored by the Belgrade EDA as well as the Belgrade Co-op, Belgrade Steel Tank and Bayer Built Woodworks, Inc.

(HD VIDEO) August Fest returned to Belgrade on August 12, 2021 after a one-year hiatus due to government pandemic restrictions the prior year; in this video, the public gathered at the Belgrade city park that night for a meal and concert. Music was performed by Gig Noonan.

Events continues in Belgrade with the firemen's chicken dinner on Friday night from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Belgrade V.F.W. at a cost of $11 per meal.

Saturday includes a full day of activities.
