Food is PLENTIFUL at Bonanza Valley Days in Brooten! (UPDATED*)

Video included from Saturday afternoon in Brooten

Bonanza Valley Days in Brooten features no shortage of food options.

Everyone can enjoy food offerings at our regular establishments of Backyard Burger, RJ's Mini Mart, the KaDe Shack, Marcia's Bar and Grill and Lincoln's Restaurant. Beyond that, food vendors and other food options are available Friday, Saturday and Sunday! The KaDe Shack stops serving food at noon on Saturday. At Lincoln's Restaurant, they serve food until 9 p.m.

All day Saturday, the Jenniges Meats Chuckwagon food truck is set up and serving from the "alfalfa" patch next to Lincoln's Restaurant.

The Lucky Shots Bowling Alley will serve their regular selection of pizzas from their oven on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, the Sedan Fire and Rescue will have a hot dog and hamburger stand at the city park shelter. They'll start serving at about 11 a.m. on Saturday and help provide food at the BVD men's softball tournament and the BVD craft and vendor show. In downtown Brooten, the B-B-E Jaguars fastpitch varsity team will operate the Booster Club food trailer beginning at 11 a.m. and lasting through at least 11 p.m. depending on demand during the street dance. The fastpitch team is expecting food demand to remain strong into the evening!

On Sunday, July 13, you can enjoy the Scouting America Waffle Feed at the Brooten City Park. They will serve from 8 a.m. to noon, so let's get them a terrific turnout! Getting over 400 guests is not unheard of for this BVD event. Prices: children age 5 and under eat free! Children ages 6 to 12 are $7, and children 13 and up and adults are $10.

In the attached video, footage from the children's activities in downtown Brooten on Saturday afternoon is featured.
