Bonanza Valley Days: here's what it's about! (VIDEO)

Year after year, the community of Brooten joins forces with the Brooten Fire Relief Association and dozens upon dozens of local businesses, families and individuals to sponsor what everyone knows and loves as Bonanza Valley Days. The town does it because we love our people and we love having visitors come to town for a good time! It's a chance to let your guard down and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Small Town America.

Many BVD activities span the generations, whether it's the Farmers Market on Thursday night or Shooting the Minnow at Marcia's Bar on Saturday. The BVD Bean Bag tournament on Saturday night on Main Street draws teenagers and adults of all ages.

We hope many of you can make it to the Saturday night street dance (July 12) which begins around 8:30 p.m. The band providing live music is Dam Jammers.

In the attached video, you can take in part of the Brooten Class of 1966 reunion, which was held on Friday, July 11 at the former Brooten American Legion building, which is now Bucky's Pickles.
