New produce items for sale this week
The Brooten Farmers Market will be in session for the public on Thursday, July 17 at the city park shelter and gazebo. They will run from 4 to 7 p.m. with a great selection of garden produce, baked goods and more for sale from local farmers and individuals.

The Brooten Farmers Market, which still seeks vendors to join, continues the 2025 season tonight, Thursday, July 17 at the city park shelter and gazebo. The Farmers Market runs from 4 to 7 p.m. Available this evening are baked goods by the Zimmermans (breads, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, granola) plus other vendors with flowers, leaf lettuce, kohlrabi, radishes peas, spinach, strawberries, jellies, jams and more. Val TeVelde's hand-crafted cards, Blissful Rebound Bagels and Bread by Lyndsay Ampe and more. (She takes pre-orders by Tuesdays to provide at the Farmers Market the same week Thursday.) New this week: FRESH cauliflower - choose what amount you would like! Also, fresh-picked zucchini will be for sale of various sizes.
