The Brooten Farmers Market continues the 2025 season tonight, Thursday, July 24 at the city park along Highway 55. The Farmers Market runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and will be set up in the treeline along Highway 55 depending on the weather. This RAIN or SHINE! In case of rain, the vendors will move to the shelter and gazebo complex to the south.
Available this evening are baked goods by the Zimmermans (breads, pies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, granola) plus other vendors including flowers and produce from the Mark Weller and Cody and Hilary Isdahl farms. The list includes, but is not limited to, flowers, leaf lettuce, spinach, strawberries, jellies and jams, Val TeVelde's hand-crafted cards, Blissful Rebound Bagels and Bread by Lyndsay Ampe and MUCH more! (Lyndsay takes pre-orders by Tuesdays to provide at the Farmers Market the same week Thursday.)
*New this week: FRESH cauliflower - choose what amount you would like! FRESH cucumbers! (Mostly small cucumbers but some larger are available.) Also, zucchini! (Yeh, that season has begun!)
