The annual Belgrade August Fest celebration begins on Thursday, August 7 and runs through Sunday morning, August 10 with Worship in the Park at 11 a.m.

Live music by Southern Crossroads (country and rock music) will be played from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the city park. Other Thursday night activities include: petting zoo and pony rides (5 to 8 p.m.), Touch-a-Truck with local EMS vehicles (5 to 6:30 p.m.), food served by Queen Bee's (5:30 to 8 p.m. at $5 or $8 a plate).
The Belgrade Fire Department's chicken BBQ supper runs 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday this weekend at the Belgrade VFW. Staff at Kensington Bank will simultaneously hold a free ice cream social during the chicken feed. The meal cost for the chicken is $12 a person.
