The East Norway Lake Women invite you this Saturday, December 20 for a sing-along led by the Sunburg Fiddlers. Homemade soups and bread will be served from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. (cost is $10 for adults; $5 for 5-12 years olds). The sing-along will begin at 1 p.m. A bake sale will be held before and after the sing-along. Coffee, cocoa and treats to follow.
Also, there will be two quilts made by the ENL quilters available for purchase, check them out in the fellowship hall. All proceeds from the sing-along will go to the ENL piano fund. All are welcome!
Update on Saturday, December 20: a video clip was attached to this web article that features the final song performed. The Bonanza Valley Voice publisher was thrilled to be able to take in this event! Later in the video clip, around the 1-minute mark, the camera panned to the top of the sanctuary. The wooden cross that's shown was made in 2005 in honor of the late Brian Olson, father of the newspaper publisher. The carpenter who crafted it is Jim H. Thompson, a farmer in Arctander Township.
