Good riddance, soon-to-be ex-Governor Tim Walz. The business community is THRILLED to see you ending your bid for a third term. A third term was a terrible idea, and the state will be better off now that your political career will end in January 2027. Oh, by the way, it was not nice knowing you. You have been absolutely disgusting. Your whopper of a lie "We've spent years cracking down on fraudsters" that you gave on December 30 is one that you will never, ever live down. You appear to be a man who lies with every breath you take. You are shameless. You pushed insane tax and spending increases by the state, and now we are learning that the state has been scammed out of billions and billions of dollars. Please, sir, do not let the door hit you on the way out!
My only question is: who told Walz he had to end his career? What power in the Democratic Party strong-armed him to stop? Walz did not suddenly become smart and realize he needs to give up his grip on power. In the words of Joe Soucheray of Garage Logic, "There's no way he reached this decision on his own. That would require character, and he has shown very little of it."
Can you say clown show! in Walz's speech on January 5 where he gives his explanation of why he's dropping out, it took just 28 seconds for him to mention President Donald Trump.
